Celebrating the Fulbright Spirit in Georgia

Carlos, thank you for setting up this Blog.

All the smiles tell the story of the many friendships that were made this past weekend.
Even though we had rain and cool weather, we shared the warmth of
our conversations, laughter and dancing!

Thank you to everyone for actively participating in the community of GA Fulbright.

Kudos to Margaret!

2009 North Carolina trip: A peek into Cherokee Land

How about learning about the traditions of the Cherokee culture?

I think Bo did an excellent job. I particularly liked the rattle snake dance where the whole group danced in a left and right spiral, universal symbols of transformation of consciousness.

2009 North Carolina Trip: White River Rafting at the French Broad!

A little cold but lots of fun!
What did you like the most about this part of the trip?

April 22-6:30- Mark your Calendars!!!!!

Hello Fulbright Students and Alum
I agree with everyone's sentiments - Margaret and board did a fabulous job. We are very lucky to have such an active group.
I know you are all very busy, so I want to make sure that you mark your calendars now - Wednesday, April 22 at 6:30 is the dinner hosted by the Consul of Turkey.
All you GA Tech students know that you will be entertained by the fabulous GA Tech Turkish dance group. And all the Turkish students will tell you that you would be crazy to miss the wonderful Turkish cuisine.
You will be getting more information, but just plan your studies- get that paper done, study ahead of time for that exam and come and enjoy on April 22!!!

Start sharing your experiences now!

Hi all,

So we have created this blog to provide a space for Fulbrighters to let everyone know how awesome the Georgia Chapter of the Fulbright Association is!

In this blog Fulbrighters studying in Georgia may share their thoughts about the Fulbright program in Gerogia (our trips, our meetings and other activities), express your gratitude or simply let everyone know of interesting events occuring in their local cities.

To get things started, I would like to thank everyone for being such an awesome group, and specially to Mrs. Pumper for all the work she put towards the North Carolina Trip 2009.
